The Godwin Eagles (Richmond, VA) baseball trounced the visiting Patrick Henry Patriots (Ashland, VA), 12-6 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mechanicsville for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 20. Godwin will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 13-1 non-league win over Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-0.
With the defeat, Patrick Henry drops to 0-1 on the year. The Patriots travel to Goochland (Goochland, VA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 19. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Goochland won 24-1 in their recent non-league challenge against James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA)
