The Riverside Panthers baseball team scored 14 runs and held the host Hopewell Vikings to 0 in the Panthers non-league win on Tuesday.

The Panthers now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Seneca Valley for a non-league test on Monday, March 24. Riverside will play a Raiders team coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Plum (Pittsburgh, PA). The Raiders record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Hopewell drops to 0-2 on the year. The Vikings host Beaver (Beaver, PA) to play the Bobcats in a WPIAL 4A 1 test on Monday, March 24. The Bobcats go into the test with a record of 2-0. Beaver won 12-5 in their recent non-league test against Armstrong (Kittanning, PA)
