In Tuesday's non-league bout, the Hopewell Blue Devils (Hopewell, VA) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Varina Blue Devils (Richmond, VA), by a tally of 13-1.

Next up, the Blue Devils encounter the Henrico Warriors (Richmond, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 21. Hopewell will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Warriors enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 18-0 league loss to Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA).
