In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Tri-City Tornadoes baseball team scored a nice 16-8 win over the Lanphier Lions.
The Tornadoes (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Argenta-Oreana (Argenta, IL). The Bombers go into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Argenta-Oreana knocked off Central A & M (Moweaqua, IL), 3-1, in a non-league game.
Next, the Lions play the MacArthur Generals (Decatur, IL) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 20. Lanphier will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Generals go into the game with a 1-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Cerro Gordo/Bement (Cerro Gordo, IL).
