In Tuesday's non-league bout, the Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Warren Central Dragons (Bowling Green, KY), by a tally of 15-0.
Next up, the Hornets encounter the Casey County Rebels (Liberty, KY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 20. Metcalfe County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Rebels enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to Lincoln County (Stanford, KY).
The Dragons (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against John Hardin (Elizabethtown, KY). The Bulldogs enter the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, John Hardin was overwhelmed by Christian Academy-Louisville (Louisville, KY), 16-1, in a non-league bout.
