Colorado High School Baseball - Monte Vista nipped by Pagosa Springs

Pagosa Springs Pirates (Pagosa Springs, CO) fans left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad nip the host Monte Vista Pirates (Monte Vista, CO), 7-6 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Pagosa Springs advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Pirates travel to Alamosa (Alamosa, CO) to face the Mean Moose in a 3A Intermountain battle on Saturday, April 12. The Mean Moose enter the battle with a record of 2-2.

Next, the Pirates face the Holly Wildcats (Holly, CO) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 21. Monte Vista will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
