North Carolina High School Volleyball - South Mecklenburg over Ballantyne Ridge

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) and the visiting Ballantyne Ridge Wolves (Charlotte, NC), observed South Mecklenburg's volleyball team top Ballantyne Ridge by a count of 3-0.

The Sabres (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Palisades (Charlotte, NC). The Pumas enter the contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Palisades notched a victory over Kingdom Leadership Academy (Fort Mill, SC), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Wolves meet the Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, March 20. Ballantyne Ridge will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Mavericks enter the contest with a 2-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Sun Valley (Monroe, NC).
