In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Sanderson Spartans lacrosse squad scored a good 19-0 triumph over the Garner Trojans.
The Spartans (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Clayton (Clayton, NC). The Comets go into the non-league challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Clayton was overwhelmed by Heritage (Wake Forest, NC), 19-5, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Trojans clash with the Willow Spring Storm (Fuquay-Varina, NC) in a Greater Neuse River challenge, on Wednesday, March 19. Garner will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Storm go into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 14-13 non-league win over Leesville Road (Raleigh, NC).
