Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Aspen Skiers (Aspen, CO) and the host Grand Valley Cardinals (Parachute, CO), saw Aspen's soccer squad triumph over Grand Valley by a count of 6-0.

The Skiers (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Basalt (Basalt, CO). The Longhorns enter the 3A/2A Western Slope battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Basalt was overwhelmed by Telluride (Telluride, CO), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Cardinals battle the Vail Christian Saints (Edwards, CO) in a 2A Intermountain North battle, on Tuesday, April 1. Grand Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
