The Eastside Eagles soccer squad scored 8 points and held the visiting Cristo Rey Atlanta to 0 in the Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Madison County (Danielsville, GA). The Red Raiders enter the 4A Region 8 battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Madison County was overwhelmed by Oglethorpe County (Lexington, GA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the confront the The King's Academy Knights (Woodstock, GA) in a GIAA AAA/AAAA District 1 battle, on Tuesday, March 25. Cristo Rey Atlanta will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Knights enter the battle with a 4-0 record after their 10-0 non-league win over The Weber School (Atlanta, GA).
