Lincoln-Way East Griffins (Frankfort, IL) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Hancock Eagles (Chicago, IL), 8-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Lincoln-Way East moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Griffins travel to Andrew (Tinley Park, IL) to clash with the Thunderbolts in a non-league test on Saturday, March 22. The Thunderbolts come into the test with a record of 2-0. Andrew won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Joliet West (Joliet, IL)

The Eagles now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Riverside-Brookfield for a non-league test on Thursday, March 20. Hancock will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
