In Tuesday's non-league test, the Mater Dei Catholic Crusaders (Chula Vista, CA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Torrey Pines Falcons (San Diego, CA), by a count of 7-0.
Next, the Crusaders meet the Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA) in a non-league test, on Friday, March 21. Mater Dei Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 5-0 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 2-3 record after their 17-1 non-league loss to Patrick Henry (San Diego, CA).
The Falcons (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Point Loma (San Diego, CA). The Pointers go into the non-league test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Point Loma was routed by West Hills (Santee, CA), 10-0, in a non-league test.
