The Apex Friendship Patriots lacrosse squad scored 11 points and limited the visiting Leesville Road Pride to 2 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Patriots now hold a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Apex for a Southwest Wake challenge on Thursday, March 20. Apex Friendship will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 17-1 league win over Panther Creek (Cary, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 8-0.

With the loss, Leesville Road falls to 3-3 on the year. The Pride host Croatan (Newport, NC) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 21. The Cougars go into the challenge with a record of 7-1. Croatan won 15-2 in their recent non-league challenge against New Bern (New Bern, NC)
