The Maine South Hawks (Park Ridge, IL) lacrosse nudged the visiting York Dukes (Elmhurst, IL), 9-8 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
The Hawks now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Saint Ignatius College Prep for a non-league outing on Thursday, March 20. Maine South will face a Wolfpack squad coming off a 10-8 non-league win over Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL). The Wolfpack record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, York falls to 0-1 on the year. The Dukes travel to Wheaton Academy (West Chicago, IL) to face the Warriors in a non-league outing on Saturday, March 22. The Warriors go into the outing with a record of 0-0.
