Georgia High School Lacrosse - Woodward Academy nips McIntosh

In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Woodward Academy War Eagles lacrosse squad scored a tight 12-11 triumph over the McIntosh Chiefs.
The War Eagles (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Creekview (Canton, GA). The Grizzlies go into the non-league challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Creekview held off North Gwinnett (Suwanee, GA), 7-6, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Chiefs clash with the Newnan Cougars (Newnan, GA) in a 2A Area 5 challenge, on Wednesday, March 19. McIntosh will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Cougars go into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 17-2 non-league win over Ola (McDonough, GA).
