The Oak Park-River Forest Huskies lacrosse squad scored 16 points and limited the visiting Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs to 1 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Huskies now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Benet Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 21. Oak Park-River Forest will clash with a Redwings squad coming off a 12-8 non-league win over Naperville North (Naperville, IL). The Redwings record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Riverside-Brookfield falls to 0-1 on the year. The Bulldogs host Marmion (Aurora, IL) to clash with the Cadets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 20. The Cadets go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Marmion lost 18-4 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Charles North (St. Charles, IL)
