The Calhoun Yellow Jackets (Calhoun, GA) soccer overwhelmed the host Ridgeland Panthers (Rossville, GA), 6-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.
The Yellow Jackets now hold a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Northwest Whitfield for a 3A Area 7 challenge on Thursday, March 20. Calhoun will encounter a Bruins squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Woodland (Cartersville, GA). The Bruins record now stands at 9-0.
With the loss, Ridgeland moves to 1-9 on the year. The Panthers host Gilmer (Ellijay, GA) to play the Bobcats in a 3A Area 7 bout on Friday, March 21. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 8-2. Gilmer won 5-0 in their recent league bout against Adairsville (Adairsville, GA)
