Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Central Red Devils (Phenix City, AL) and the host Northside Patriots (Columbus, GA), saw Central's soccer squad knock off Northside by a count of 4-1.
The Red Devils (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against Auburn (Auburn, AL). The Tigers enter the 7A Area 4 battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Auburn by Prattville (Prattville, AL), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Patriots confront the Jonesboro Cardinals (Jonesboro, GA) in a 4A Area 3 battle, on Friday, March 21. Northside will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Cardinals enter the battle with a 1-4 record after their 2-0 league loss to Griffin (Griffin, GA).
