The Jackson County Panthers soccer squad scored 10 points and held the visiting Oglethorpe County Patriots to 0 in the Panthers non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Panthers now hold a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Apalachee for a 5A Area 8 bout on Friday, March 21. Jackson County will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 5-0 league win over Alcovy (Covington, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, Oglethorpe County moves to 2-7 on the year. The Patriots host Elbert County (Elberton, GA) to play the Blue Devils in a 1A D-I Area 8 bout on Friday, March 21. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Elbert County lost 4-1 in their recent league bout against Athens Academy (Athens, GA)
