Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Troup County Tigers (LaGrange, GA) and the visiting Spalding Jaguars (Griffin, GA), saw Troup County's soccer squad knock off Spalding by a score of 3-1.

The Tigers (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA). The Lions enter the 4A Area 4 battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Trinity Christian tipped Upson-Lee (Thomaston, GA), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Jaguars confront the Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA) in a 4A Area 4 battle, on Thursday, March 20. Spalding will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Patriots enter the battle with a 2-6 record after their 2-1 league win over Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA).
