The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Acadiana Rams (Lafayette, LA) and the host Lafayette Lions (Lafayette, LA), observed Acadiana's softball team get by Lafayette by a tally of 12-8.

The Rams (10-5) will now prepare for their bout against Sam Houston (Lake Charles, LA). The Broncos go into the 5A District 3 bout with a 14-2 record. In their last bout, Sam Houston tipped Barbe (Lake Charles, LA), 17-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Lions clash with the Sulphur Golden Tors (Sulphur, LA) in a 5A District 3 bout, on Thursday, March 20. Lafayette will attempt to advance on its 8-5 season record. The Golden Tors go into the bout with a 7-9 record after their 7-6 league win over Southside (Youngsville, LA).
