The Allen County-Scottsville Patriots triumphed over the host Logan County Cougars softball squad by a count of 8-2 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Patriots meet the Butler County Bears (Morgantown, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 22. Allen County-Scottsville will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record.

The Cougars (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Warren East (Bowling Green, KY). The Raiders enter the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Warren East was routed by Greenwood (Bowling Green, KY), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
