The Atkins Red Devils the host South Side Hornet softball squad by a count of 7-5 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Red Devils meet the Hector Wildcats (Hector, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, March 20. Atkins will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 13-2 league win over Acorn (Mena, AR).
The Hornet (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Heber Springs (Heber Springs, AR). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 6-5 record. In their last challenge, Heber Springs edged Little Rock Christian Academy (Little Rock, AR), 19-1, in a non-league challenge.
