Kentucky High School Softball - Belfry bounces Phelps

In Tuesday's league match, the host Belfry Pirates softball team scored a nice 15-0 win over the Phelps Hornets.
The Pirates (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Shelby Valley (Pikeville, KY). The Wildcats come into the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Shelby Valley was routed by Ridgeview (Clintwood, VA), 11-1, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Hornets battle the Betsy Layne Bobcats (Betsy Layne, KY) in a non-league match, on Thursday, March 20. Phelps will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Bobcats come into the match with a 1-0 record after their 17-2 non-league win over East Ridge (Lick Creek, KY).
