The Kaplan Pirates (Kaplan, LA) softball routed the visiting Church Point Bears (Church Point, LA), 10-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
The Pirates now sport a 17-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to David Thibodaux for a non-league outing on Wednesday, March 19. Kaplan will encounter a Bulldogs team coming off a 15-9 league win over Rayne (Rayne, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-8.
With the loss, Church Point moves to 3-7 on the season. The Bears travel to Mamou (Mamou, LA) to encounter the Demons in a 3A District 4 outing on Thursday, March 20. The Demons come into the outing with a record of 4-9. Mamou lost 10-4 in their recent non-league outing against St. John (Plaquemine, LA)
