The Glenbrook North Spartans softball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting Plainfield South Cougars to 0 in the Spartans non-league win on Tuesday.
The Spartans now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boone Grove for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 26.
With the loss, Plainfield South moves to 0-2 on the season. The Cougars host Antioch (Antioch, IL) to confront the Sequoits in a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 19. The Sequoits come into the battle with a record of 0-1. Antioch lost 5-2 in their recent non-league battle against Hononegah (Rockton, IL)
