The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Lakeside Eagles (Nine Mile Falls, WA) and the visiting West Valley Eagles (Spokane, WA), observed Lakeside's softball team get by West Valley by a tally of 17-11.
The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Chewelah (Chewelah, WA). The Cougars go into the non-league bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Chewelah tipped Northport (Northport, WA), 13-3, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Rogers Pirates (Spokane, WA) in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane bout, on Saturday, March 22. West Valley will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 25-4 non-league loss to Deer Park (Deer Park, WA).
