Virginia High School Softball - Loudoun County bounces Rock Ridge

March 18, 2025: Ashburn, VA 20148

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Loudoun County Captains (Leesburg, VA) and the host Rock Ridge Phoenix (Ashburn, VA), observed Loudoun County's softball team notch a victory over Rock Ridge by a final score of 16-0.

The Captains (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Independence (Ashburn, VA). The go into the non-league bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Independence gained a win over Loudoun Valley (Purcellville, VA), 4-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Phoenix battle the Handley Judges (Winchester, VA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, March 19. Rock Ridge will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
