The New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy Bulldogs triumphed over the visiting St. Mary's Academy Cougars softball squad by a count of 25-15 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs meet the Frederick A. Douglass Bobcats (New Orleans, LA) in a 4A District 10 challenge, on Thursday, March 20. New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 18-17 non-league win over Booker T. Washington (New Orleans, LA).
The Cougars (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against McGehee (New Orleans, LA). The Hawks enter the non-league challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, McGehee overcame Crescent City Christian (Metairie, LA), 19-0, in a league challenge.
