Texas High School Baseball - Elgin loses to Belton

Belton Tigers (Belton, TX) followers left the game satisfied Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Elgin Wildcats (Elgin, TX), 8-5 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Belton moves its record to 12-6 on the season. The Tigers host Lake Belton (Temple, TX) to play the Broncos in a 5A Region II District 16 game on Tuesday, March 24. The Broncos go into the game with a record of 10-5.

Next, the Wildcats play the Weiss Wolves (Pflugerville, TX) in a 5A Region III District 23 game, on Thursday, March 19. Elgin will attempt to improve on its 4-13 season record. The Wolves go into the game with a 15-3 record after their 15-0 league win over Elgin (Elgin, TX).
