The Round Valley Elks (Eagar, AZ) baseball trounced the visiting Morenci Wildcats (Morenci, AZ), 24-4 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

Next up, the Elks encounter the Valley Pirates (Sanders, AZ) in a 2A North bout, on Thursday, March 19. Round Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 8-1 season record. The Pirates enter the bout with a 3-2 record after their 16-3 non-league loss to Ganado (Ganado, AZ).

The Wildcats (1-8) will now prepare for their bout against Tombstone (Tombstone, AZ). The Yellow Jackets enter the 2A South bout with a 6-7 record. In their last bout, Tombstone achieved victory over Desert Christian (Tucson, AZ), 12-2, in a league bout.
