The Commerce Tigers soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Oglethorpe County Patriots to 2 in the Tigers league victory on Wednesday.
The Tigers now possess a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Rabun County for a 1A D-I Area 8 game on Friday, March 20. Commerce will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 3-1 league win over Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy (Winder, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-7.
The Patriots (0-9) will now prepare for their game against Elbert County (Elberton, GA). The Blue Devils go into the 1A D-I Area 8 bout with a 1-8 record. In their last bout, Elbert County was nudged by Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy (Winder, GA), 9-0, in a league bout.
