Washington High School Softball - Lincoln bested by River Ridge

The River Ridge Hawks triumphed over the visiting Lincoln Abes softball squad by a count of 21-2 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Hawks meet the Shelton Highclimbers (Shelton, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 20. River Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record. The Highclimbers enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 8-4 non-league loss to Olympic (Bremerton, WA).

The Abes (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Gig Harbor (Gig Harbor, WA). The Tides come into the 3A Pierce County battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Gig Harbor ran past Steilacoom (Steilacoom, WA), 11-0, in a non-league battle.
