In Saturday's non-league game, the host Argyle Eagles baseball team scored a tight 7-2 victory over the Trinity Christian Trojans.
The Eagles (11-2) will now prepare for their game against McKinney (McKinney, TX). The Lions go into the non-league game with a 5-6 record. In their last game, McKinney was overwhelmed by Guyer (Denton, TX), 8-0, in a league game.
The Trojans (0-4) will now prepare for their game against John Paul II (Plano, TX). The Cardinals go into the TAPPS Division I District 2 game with a 12-1 record.
