The Clinton Red Tornadoes crushed the visiting Newcastle Racers baseball team by a count of 14-8 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Red Tornadoes now possess a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Kingfisher for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 24. Clinton will face a Yellowjackets team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Bixby (Bixby, OK). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-1.
Next, the Racers face the Harrah Panthers (Harrah, OK) in a 4A District 2 bout, on Monday, March 21. Newcastle will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 6-2 record after their 11-9 non-league loss to Clinton (Clinton, OK).
