Mississippi High School Baseball - Columbia can't hold off St. Patrick

In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting St. Patrick Fighting Irish baseball team scored a tight 10-9 victory over the Columbia Wildcats.
The Fighting Irish (7-9) will now prepare for their game against West Marion (Foxworth, MS). The Trojans go into the 3A Region 8 game with a 8-7 record. In their last game, West Marion tipped Perry Central (New Augusta, MS), 8-0, in a league game.
The Wildcats (10-5) will now prepare for their game against Sumrall (Sumrall, MS). The Bobcats go into the 4A Region 7 game with a 13-0 record. In their last game, Sumrall tipped Poplarville (Poplarville, MS), 6-4, in a league game.
