Utah High School Baseball - Grand County defeats Shiprock

Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Grand County Red Devils (Moab, UT) and the visiting Shiprock Chieftains (Shiprock, NM), saw Grand County's baseball squad knock off Shiprock by a count of 9-4.

Coming up next, the Red Devils play the San Juan Broncos (Blanding, UT) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 19. Grand County will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Broncos enter the battle with a 3-3 record after their 10-5 non-league win over Shiprock (Shiprock, NM).

The Chieftains now possess a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Montezuma-Cortez for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 22. Shiprock will play a Panthers squad coming off a 7-2 non-league win over Gunnison (Gunnison, CO). The Panthers record now stands at 3-1.
