The Scott Central Rebels baseball team (Forest, MS), was overwhelmed 13-5 in Saturday's non-league outing with the visiting Meridian Wildcats (Meridian, MS)
The Wildcats now hold a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brandon for a 6A Region 5 outing on Monday, March 21. Meridian will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to St. Stanislaus (Bay St. Louis, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-4.
Next, the Rebels confront the Sebastopol Bobcats (Sebastopol, MS) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, March 24. Scott Central will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Bobcats go into the outing with a 8-4 record after their 26-0 league win over McAdams (McAdams, MS).
