California High School Baseball - Palo Verde Valley holds off Needles

Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Palo Verde Valley Yellow Jackets (Blythe, CA) and the host Needles Mustangs (Needles, CA), saw Palo Verde Valley's baseball squad beat Needles by a margin of 10-6.

Coming up next, the Yellow Jackets play the Vincent Memorial Scots (Calexico, CA) in a Manzanita battle, on Friday, April 1. Palo Verde Valley will attempt to better on its 2-10 season record. The Scots enter the battle with a 1-0 record after their 17-2 non-league win over Borrego Springs (Borrego Springs, CA).

The Mustangs now sport a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Calvary Chapel Christian for a 2A Southern battle on Thursday, March 24.
