In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Pine View Panthers (St. George, UT) baseball squad the visiting Union Cougars (Roosevelt, UT), by a final score of 7-3.
With the triumph, Pine View moves its record to 9-0 on the campaign. The Panthers host Snow Canyon (St. George, UT) to play the Warriors in a 4A Region 10 battle on Tuesday, March 22. The Warriors enter the battle with a record of 7-1. Snow Canyon won 15-8 in their recent non-league battle against Springville (Springville, UT)
The Cougars now possess a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Manti for a 3A Region 14 battle on Tuesday, March 22. Union will play a Templars squad coming off a 12-7 non-league win over Kanab (Kanab, UT). The Templars record now stands at 3-3.
