The Whitney Wildcats held off the host Rio Americano Raiders volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Wildcats now have a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roseville for a non-league test on Saturday, March 19. Whitney will confront a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Rocklin (Rocklin, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-3.
The Raiders (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Granite Bay (Granite Bay, CA). The Grizzlies enter the non-league test with a 7-1 record. In their last test, Granite Bay was nudged by Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
