The Chula Vista Spartans topped the host Steele Canyon Cougars volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Spartans now have a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to High Tech SD for a non-league test on Saturday, March 19. Chula Vista will confront a Storm team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Mission Vista (Oceanside, CA). The Storm record now stands at 8-4.

The Cougars (2-12) will now prepare for their test against Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA). The Monarchs enter the Grossmont Valley test with a 1-8 record. In their last test, Monte Vista was knocked off by West Hills (Santee, CA), 3-1, in a league test.
