The Homestead Mustangs topped the host St. Ignatius Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Mustangs now have a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cupertino for a SCVAL - De Anza test on Wednesday, March 23. Homestead will confront a Pioneers team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA). The Pioneers record now stands at 9-3.

The Wildcats (5-8) will now prepare for their test against Saint Francis (Mountain View, CA). The Lancers enter the WCAL test with a 11-1 record. In their last test, Saint Francis gained a win over Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA), 3-0, in a league test.
