The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Monterey Trail Mustangs (Elk Grove, CA) and the host James Logan Colts (Union City, CA), saw Monterey Trail's volleyball squad beat James Logan by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Monterey Trail upgrades its record to 8-3 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Laguna Creek (Elk Grove, CA) to play the Cardinals in a Metropolitan Conference bout on Wednesday, March 23. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 2-4.

The Colts now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Moreau Catholic for a Mission Valley bout on Tuesday, April 5.
