The Rancho Bernardo Broncos held off the visiting Valencia Vikings volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Broncos now have a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mission Hills for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 22. Rancho Bernardo will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Canyon Crest Academy (San Diego, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 8-5.
The Vikings (10-12) will now prepare for their test against Downey (Downey, CA). The Vikings enter the non-league test with a 4-8 record. In their last test, Downey was nudged by Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
