The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Riverside Beavers (Painesville, OH) and the visiting Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH), saw Riverside's lacrosse team achieve victory over Boardman by a margin of 10-4.

The Beavers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Solon (Solon, OH). The Comets enter the Region 2 challenge with a 0-0 record.

The Spartans (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Cardinal Mooney (Youngstown, OH). The Cardinals enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Cardinal Mooney edged Southeast (Ravenna, OH), 12-1, in a non-league challenge.
