The Jackson Polar Bears lacrosse team scored 12 points and held the visiting Dublin Coffman Shamrocks to 8 in the Polar Bears non-league win on Saturday.
The Polar Bears (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Myers Park (Charlotte, NC). The Mustangs go into the non-league match with a 6-2 record. In their last match, Myers Park nudged Sacred Heart (Louisville, KY), 15-11, in a non-league match.
The Shamrocks (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Olentangy Berlin (Delaware, OH). The Bears go into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Olentangy Berlin was overwhelmed by Olentangy Orange (Lewis Center, OH), 12-10, in a non-league match.
