The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lane Tech Lane Tech (Chicago, IL) and the host Oak Park-River Forest Huskies (Oak Park, IL), saw Lane Tech's lacrosse team gain a win over Oak Park-River Forest by a margin of 8-5.

The Lane Tech (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Northside (Chicago, IL). The Mustangs enter the Chicago Public challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Northside by Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL), 14-2, in a non-league challenge.

The Huskies (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Chicago Mt. Carmel (Chicago, IL). The Caravan enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record.
