Central Lions (Carrollton, GA) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Heritage Hawks (Newnan, GA), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lions confront the Bowdon Red Devils (Bowdon, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 21. Central will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record. The Red Devils enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 10-0 league loss to Armuchee (Rome, GA).
The Hawks now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host St. Anne-Pacelli for a challenge on Wednesday, March 23.
