Louisiana High School Softball - Archbishop Chapelle loses to Academy of Our Lady

The Academy of Our Lady Penguins softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Archbishop Chapelle Chipmunks to 0 in the Penguins non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Academy of Our Lady moves its record to 13-6 on the year. The Penguins travel to Denham Springs (Denham Springs, LA) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a non-league game on Saturday, March 19. The Yellowjackets come into the game with a record of 1-5.
In their next game, the Chipmunks clash with the Mt. Carmel Cubs (New Orleans, LA) in a 5A District 9 game, on Tuesday, March 22. Archbishop Chapelle will attempt to move on its 2-6 season record. The Cubs come into the game with a 8-9 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Bourgeois (Gray, LA).
